Bandua House Building Outreach October 2021!
The Mozambican teams have been working hard again in the cyclone-hit area of Bandua, where thousands remain living in dire conditions in the resettlement camps that grew up in 2019/20.
The need for houses is endless and the stories of struggle to find enough food after a failed harvest are countless.
Charis has been able to bless 40 more of the most needy with solid, secure houses before the monsoon rains arrive in December. The flimsy ramshackle tents that most still live in will provide little shelter.
They have also helped children with clothes.
When asked why they travel so far to work hard to help the people, the team always share their faith in Jesus, who as the Son of God on earth ‘went about doing good’ and showed the way to real and eternal life. Sergio had the opportunity to share his faith with a local traditional healer.
