Rescued from the street

‘If anyone sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them how can the love of God be in that person?’ (1 John 3:17)

Hawi

Elizabeth was approached by a beautiful little girl who asked her for bread. Elizabeth asked her why she was begging, and she told her she was an orphan living with her great aunt. Her mother had died in childbirth and her father drowned himself. Elizabeth asked to take her home and found them living in dire slum-like conditions and Hawi had no bed, mattress or blanket. Charis will help with food and provide for Hawi.
