Wakume (Updated!)

The other day Elizabeth found Wakume on the street in a distressed state after having been bitten by a dog. She looked dishevelled and Elizabeth saw she had mental health problems. She took her for an anti-rabies injection and then found a relative where she learned Wakume has been on the street for 2-3 years. Elizabeth persuaded the relative to let her stay with her until we can arrange a room for her. We have added her to our monthly food support list and Elizabeth will visit to pray and care for her.

Update

Wakume is gradually improving. Elizabeth has been visiting her regularly helping her to wash and providing clothes for her. She took her to the hospital recently and started her on some medication to help her mental state.
